A bit of a hectic weekend for me- some of my family was up this weekend, and I am also in the process of emptying out/cleaning my apartment and moving things over to the new place. Add to that the fact that I am pretty lazy and procrastinating by nature, and you’ve got a good recipe for me not getting things done on time, like Caturday and Foul Play. My Foul Play image has been pushed back to Monday, and apparently Paleghost is taking my tardiness as an excuse for him to not finish his as well… but I do have a belated Caturday image for you. This one, as discussed last week, is a custom job.

Celebrate Caturday
All the sites posting cat pictures (ICHC, SOMC) are using lame watermarks now, and as you can see in this week’s pic, the crossover can create major ugliness. I think from now on I’m just going to lurk on 7chan for unmarked cat pictures and I’ll create my own lolcats for Caturday. It’s probably for the best anyway, since I’m certain everyone has seen all the cat pics I have across the internet dozens of times. More original content is cool, right?

Mootools: Okay, I’m Impressed
I just came across the Mootools’ demo of Fx.Morph. Impressive.
This effect somehow manages to animate the change between two completely different CSS styles, including halting the effect. Sorry jQuery, you lose this round.

How to Change the PayPal Administrative Email Address
Quick back story: For the last two months, I have been trying to remove my email address from my mother’s PayPal account. At one point, I added it while I was setting up PayPal checkout on her website. The mistake I made was adding it as the “Administrative” email address. Basically, this is a special user that has complete control over the account, but is not the account holder’s email address. It’s meant for the “manager” of a business account, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

E3 Begins - Opinions and Junk To Follow
E3’s swinging into gear, and while I’m not fortunate enough to attend, this week promises to be a plethora of news for gaming and I’ll be posting impressions from the Big Three’s press conferences, along with a wrap-up with the biggest stories and my opinions on them as the conference winds down. Just because it’s not a spectacle this year doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of big announcements and things to talk about. As of now, I’m mostly looking forward to news on Metroid Prime 3, Metal Gear Solid 4 (possibly going multi-platform?), Killzone 2, and hopefully a price drop on the Xbox 360. We’ll see how happy I am at the end of the week.
